[I know it's a double post. It'll work though.]
Brandie Williams
Baby girl, I'm a blur I spoiled, stunted, sickened her. God and Death are none of my concern, I'm no philosopher. Deep in your heart, stitched the keyAnd only one can set me free from the beast where I dwell and let the saints all burn in hell.
The soft hum of the shower continued to fill the bathroom as it should. The warm water vapor made clear of it, that the shower water would be perfect for Brandie Williams. Brandie hummed to herself, a song that has been around for too long of a while. Bring me to life by Evanescence. She began to take her clothing of slowly, throwing it to the far side of the bathroom. Carefully, the seventeen year old caressed the plastic curtain before jumping in the shower. The water felt so good as it splashed on her could body. Brandie grabbed some grape shampoo, and lathered it on her head. Once her head felt soapy enough, so washed it out before applying the same brand of conditioner. Once that was finished, Brandie shaved her under arms as well as legs. She had to be perfect for tonight. Brandie stepped out of the shower gently, and dried herself off with a pink, playboy bunny towel. She slipped on her finest cream colored bra, then a white sexy corset. The corset was fined detail, in a Victorian manner. It showed a bit of Brandie’s stomach on purpose, as she buttoned the expensive piece of clothing. Next she slipped on a matching thong, and a denim jean skirt. For some reason, mini skirts made her look absolutely sexy. Again, what didn’t?
So take what you want from me, heyyyy And take all I've got from me, heyyyy You're with me all the time The drugs can have my mind, love You own the rest you'll find And you're with me all the time
All that she did after, was slip on a pair of snow colored high heels, and apply a tad to much makeup. She had a few places to go to before work, and she was running out of time. Brandie headed downstairs, grabbed the car keys and gaited out the door. Today she was in quit the hurry. It was already five in the evening, and she needed to be at work by six thirty. Before you would know it, she was on the road. Her red mustang was on cruise control, and it felt good to escape her house and get out on a Friday night. Maybe, she would even meet someone new. That is, if luck was one her way. Brandie turned right onto Williams’s road, and onto Val Vista. Her first destination had arrived. The mall. She parked the car, and walked into the large building. The mall wasn’t to filled today, it seems everybody was out doing s h I t, and she was the only one on a serious occasion. If you considered this a serious occasion. Brandie walked into Victoria’s Secret and headed over to the cashier. Her best friend waved to her. “Hey girl” Brandie yelled. Megan, handed her friend the cash. Megan had owed Brandie money since last week, and today was the only day she could pick it up. The girls hugged goodbye, and from there she went to a couple other places in the mall, for the hell of it. Now, was the real deal.
On the roof, burning black, the city smoked from the attackBut on the roof, we love the beast to death The sweat and whiskey breath
It was surprising how a small town could contain such a famous nightclub. This night club was where Brandie seemed to work. She worked as a dancer, for a stripper who was a down right sleeper. Brandie’s family didn’t come from a good line of people. Her cousin and fellow enemy, Hayley Mathews, had spent four months in rehab for cocaine. The minute she got back, she got high again. Her other cousin, Jess, did not go to rehab but is on coke. Maybe Brandie was the only one who didn’t take drugs. Whatever the cause she needed to go to work now. Brandie made her way backstage, and saw her boss let the stripper on without her. Something was wrong her. Her boss, gave her a sympathetic look.
We fall right down We get back up again thats how we be you and me I would not crowd, I would not smother you I'd let you breathe, over me
“I have told you Brandie, you don’t work on Fridays.” He said shaking his head. “Go party. Have fun”. Brandie looked confused, and laughed. “Oh yea, huh”? She ran down to where the club was held, and grinned. She sat on the couch, and smiled as they played her favorite song. The girl waited for someone to talk to her. A girl like Brandie, just doesn’t go chase the pray. The pray chases her.
No matter where I go you're on my mind I stumble home and pray I'll find With your flamethrower eyes and jilted smile You'll soothe my wounds and drain my bile

Canaan McGowan wasn’t a city boy.
Clad in his comfortably worn denims and blue and white plaid shirt, Cane was perfectly un-ordinary. Most folks at this club were dressed for the occasion, especially the gals. Low-cut shirts and tight, short skirts were the norm around here. Which didn’t bother Canaan one bit, but he couldn’t help but feel a little out of place. Running a tan, calloused hand through his dark chocolate locks, Canaan took a slow sip of his liquor. Nothing fancy, just a little coke and fire water. Not exactly the order you would expect at this club. But then again, nothing about Canaan was typical. At least not in this setting...
The bar was filled to the brim with high profile characters hiding behind designer sunglasses. Even the buzz from the liquor couldn’t grant him relief from their prying eyes. Deciding to free himself from their suspicious gazes, Canaan excused himself from the marble counter, leaving the remnant of his drink behind.
His sea green eyes flickered to the dance floor, where people of all races and backgrounds meshed together, little to no space separating each of their writing bodies. Canaan considered joining the fun, but he didn’t exactly feel energetic right yet. But wait till the JD started kicking in. Canaan swept his bangs to the side with a snap of his neck, glancing up on stage. Some provocatively dressed girl was swinging her hips in tune to the music. Other parts of her body swung right along too. Canaan looked away with a blush. He was too much of a country boy to be sucked in by that.
Canaan walked by the speakers blasting an intense beat and made his way to a couch that looked over the dance floor. He had come to the bar with one of his guy friends, but he had long since been seduced by a cute girl and had no doubt taken off to one of the VIP rooms. In a way, Canaan was jealous, but not really. He wasn’t wasted enough yet to have a good time.
There was already a blonde sitting on the other end of the love seat, and there wasn’t much room to get comfortable. But she was pretty fine looking, so he figured he would take a seat anyway. He searched around in his mind for a good ice breaker or pick up line, but all that came to him was corny one liners from grade school. Maybe that drink was getting to him already... So, he just decided to introduce himself. Hey it was better than nothing! And he did want to take it a little slower than his friend...
“Hey,” he said, turning in his seat to face her. “I’m Canaan,” he declared, loud enough that she could hopefully hear him over the booming music.
