You have just entered Millington Maryland. Driving down the road, you notice the town is very laid back, looks much like the old days; back when everything was simple. Everyone you pass waves and smiles, as they walk leisurely to wards the diner to get their morning coffee and bagels. You continue driving, and see a faded black sign with elegant black letters stating 'Bay Field Equestrian'. The sun is just rising over the horizon, you are taking away by the pastures on each side of the driveway. Fog is covering the ground, and you see the outlines of many horses. The driveway continues on for about a quarter of a mile, some long driveway huh? You finally reach the parking circle, and you park your car.
Reaching the stable yard, you notice it is booming with life. Many riders and their horses trotting around on the cobblestone patio, riders giving their horses baths, and instructors leading a group to the arena. Everyone that passes tips their riding hats, and says hello. You realize this is one great place, and you decide to look further. As you was inside the barn, you are greeted by the smell of hay and horses, a dim light from the sun coming through the windows, and nickering horses that have stuck their heads out of their stalls to see who has come to greet them. You look at each of the horses as you pass, you are amazed at how structured and poised all the horses are.
Finally you see the stairs leading to the main office, and you begin to climb them. On the right side of you, the wall is covered with ribbons, and awards the stables has collected over the years. Once you reach the door, you stop for a second to take a deep breath, and slowly you reach for the brass doorknob; slowly turn it and push the door open. There is a nice petite lady sitting behind an old oak desk, reading over some papers; and sipping coffee. Hearing you come in, she looks up and smiles warmly. She greets you, and tells you she is the head instructor; she invites you to sit down and tell her about yourself. You spend at least a half hour sitting there, explaining your horse, and where you are with your riding skills. She gives you a few papers to sign, and then she welcomes you to Bay Field Equestrian. This is it, your finally here... the place where hearts are healed, and dreams are fulfilled.

A spirit called ‘The Great One’ took charge of earth as creatures began to develop on it. He decided he couldn’t rule alone, and made the four elements. These elements were gods named Aer, Terra, Ignis and Aqua, they kept an eye on the earth while The Great One was not present. They four elements argued, and spilt into two groups, Earth and Fire, Air and Water. Ignis blessed man with his power of fire, but unfortunately, man destroyed anything he wanted and grew too powerful. The gods alone could not defeat the humans.
So, they blessed every beast on the planet with an element, and united, they beat the humans, and took away their power. When The Great One returned, he was shocked at what had happened, and said that if man ever touches an animal, it shall loose its powers so he can not use them for himself. The Great One also said, that new generations of creatures wishing to have an element, must visit one of the seven shrines over the world. But the seventh one was hidden. Over the next few millennia, man forgets about the powers, and makes his own, in the forms of machines.
A new country had appeared off the coast of San Francisco when an unknown underwater volcanoes erupted and made it. People first used the island for animals to live on as a nature reserve, but finally they began to move onto it themselves. The seventh shrine has arisen, the own that will grant any beast an elemental power of their choice, to help them stay away from humans. The people know nothing about this and only that at the center of the island is ‘Mt. Equitale’, a volcano that now erupts every ten years or so.

It's a new age on this island that many have come to love and and understand. We are not the same people, we are not the same community, and we are for sure not the same island. We have evolved. Evolved you may ask? Yes, we have changed into something that is better.
Like we were before, {{Tropical Equine}} is still the close knit Horse SIM/RPG where the horses compete with a fierceness that is undescribable and their rider's lives are scandalous beyond belief. Now how does it all play into this evolution?
From our straight-path kids we have all morphed and the secrets have been revealed. Incest, drugs, it all goes down here-but the thing that makes it unique is how the horses mean more to everyone here than their own flesh and blood.
The stable competitions are intense. The blood shed is beast and everything else revolves around how you do in the shows. Can you handle not knowing who you can trust and who you should love? Can you handle knowing that your horses could be injured by some jealous creep who would rather die than have you win the Maclay?
Besides that, can you handle knowing that you in involved in one of the most INTENSE showing communities in the SIM world. The island gathering teams for various Olympics and other Inter-Island extravaganzas. Don't lie to yourself, you can't handle it-but by Jove you might as well try.

Blairsden Academy « Result #9 on Jul 22, 2008, 10:32pm »
Welcome to Blairsden Academy. In good ole' Wyoming.
I remember back when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I lived in a big white house that stood on top a hill. I remember is well because my room was canary yellow, and it had a big bay window over looking the back pastures. That's when I was a champion in my pony club. I'm Harper by the way, Harper Carroll. My ponies name was Black Magic, everyone thought it was funny when we went into shows that all the other riders had big thoroughbreds and sport horses for jumping 3 to 4 foot jumps. They all thought Magic and me couldn't do something like that, and boy did we prove them wrong. Those were the golden years I tell ya. My dad a successful job running a inn, it was a little ways off from our home but he earned a lot of money from it. That is where the Ferguson family comes into my story. Mr. Ferguson helped my dad run the inn, they were highschool buddy's and they stayed friends throughout life. His children always came to my house to come and play with me, that's when I met my bestfriend Elizabeth. The funny thing about was both our families were champions when it came to horses.
When the offer of building a boarding school, and running a barn at that boarding school as well came into play... my dad and Mr. Ferguson dropped the inn, and took all their savings and put it into the boarding school. It took about two full years for everything to be pieced together. When it was finished however... was when I realized the worst part of the situation... and the good parts. The first bad parts were my father and mother decided to sell our big white house and all our horses. That meant I would lose Black Magic. No more pony club. I was devastated, but when we moved to the boarding school to live in a big brick house next to another brick house where the Ferguson's were moving in... my dad surprised me with a new horse. Skyway East. Living at a school kinda scared me at first, first of all I would have to deal with meeting new people all the time. I also took a chance of making a good friend and them having to leave. But that good part about living here beside the Ferguson's, was that I had my childhood friends to always keep me company. It was something I grew accustomed to, and suddenly began to love.
The riding program at the boarding school is fantastic, great horses to school, a great riding team, and a two wonderful riding instructors will help you on your way to victory. Those two trainers would be my mom, and Mrs. Ferguson. Some people who come to Blairsden don't even ride! It's amazing, some people come here to work in the barn, train horses, play sports, and some just come just because Blairsden has a great academic program. I absolutely love it here, and all the students who come here -from what I can see- love it here too! But don't think this is all fun and games... drama is still high here in Blairsden. Just because your in a fancy boarding school doesn't mean it's going to be any easier. Well have fun at Blairsden! Hope you enjoy your time here!
